Scully is in the final year of his contract and has not trained for two weeks.
He played 21 games in 2019 and 14 in 2021. The highly competitive No. 1 from the draft from 2009 moved from Melbourne to the Giants in 2011.
Scully’s teammate Jonathon Patton is also currently absent from the club as he has resigned because of allegedly inappropriate messages to women.
