Winning on the street, especially the Big Ten, is a tough endeavor, but Iowa is perfect 3-0 in conference street games this month, and 4-0 in Illinois on Friday. </ The Hawkeyes are ranked third in the country's overall ranking for points scored per possession. The offensive went well and is seventh among the Division I teams in this category in road games.
Illinois has now lost two of its last three home games, with the opponents in this route 44.1 percent of their 3-points -Shots scored. The Illinois offense helps make up for this by taking eighth place in the country in 3 point shooting. Iowa ranks 26th in that category and Illinois makes 38.5 of its 3-point hits at home, compared with 42 percent on the street.
Iowas is the only crime in the nation that averages more than two Templates achieved per sales. This isn’t ideal for an Illinois defense, which ranks 304th in the country in terms of sales enforced per defense game.
Since Iowa rebounded 33.6 percent of its misses and Luka Garza averaged 26.9 points per shot Scoring more than four more per game than any other DI player, the Hawkeyes should continue their street win at The Prairie State on Friday.
