Bambolim: A goal from Ishan Pandita in stoppage time helped FC Goa to an exciting 3-3 draw against Mumbai City FC in an Indian Super League match on Monday.
Mumbai took the lead through Hugo Boumous (20th minute) and Adam Le Fondre (26th minute), but goals from Glan Martins (45th minute) and Igor Angulo (51st minute) ensured FC Goa.
But just as it looked As if the game were heading for a draw, Rowllin hit Borges late (90th minute) to give Mumbai the lead only to see Pandita abandon his efforts in the final moments of the game. This is Pandita’s second failure in the league.
Goa dominated the game in terms of possession and passing, but Mumbai’s defense was great and made the Gaurs.
Although Mumbai only made half as many passes as its opponents, Nevertheless, he managed to take a breather with a one-goal pillow. Sergio Lobera’s team relied on the counterattack and had more shots on target. They had four on target, two of which they converted.
Boumous was full of life against his former team and gave an early warning as he sped past Adil Khan to the right and tried to cut the ball back. But Dheeraj Singh had a firm hand on the ball.

Glan scored a stunner to cut the deficit before the break. Jorge Ortiz played a pass to Glan halfway and the newcomer, who made his first start for Goa, fired a bolt of lightning that crashed into Mumbai’s net.
Goa came out stronger in the second session and soon beat the Restore parity. Alberto Noguera whipped a cross from the left to find Angulo, who managed to plan his run perfectly to hit the offside trap and score.
After missing a couple of sitters, Borges finally scored in the 90th minute as he took Ahmed Jahouh’s free kick from the left. But there was still time for another goal. Goa scored a leveler in added time with Pandita, who headed Bedia’s flank.
