50 ‘The ball recovery and movement from Kerala has been exemplary. Sandeep wins the ball on the right and sends a low cross into the penalty area, which is not cleared by ATKMB. Rahul brings it down and shoots through a crowd of defenders as the Kerala wins a corner.

48 ‘However, a shot from Kotal misses the target. Jessel’s diagonal hit goes over the line. Gomez plays a backheel praise to find Jessel on the left, but Halder cuts him out.

46 ‘The second half begins! ATKMB rings twice and sends Pronay Halder and Manvir Singh for Sumit Rathi and Sahil Sheikh.

Kerala Blasters has put ATK Mohun Bagan on its back foot from the start and reaped the rewards. It pushed up the pitch which put pressure on the tall men of ATKMB while the transition from defense to attack was electrifying. Gary Hooper’s impressive 14th-minute goal from 40 yards gave Kibu Vicunas a well-deserved lead. ATKMB’s new signing Marcelinho looked dangerous with his runs at the beginning, but his influence wore off as the clock ran.
