NorthEast United FC, a team in crisis, face Jamshedpur FC, a team that is in the middle of a slump in the early kick-off of the Indian Super League (ISL) on Sunday at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco.

There are currently none much between the two sides. Jamshedpur is seventh, one point and one point above NEUFC, with 13 points from 11 games.

The head-to-head stats undoubtedly speak for Owen Coyle’s side as they have played in the last seven games that took place in the other five games ended in two wins and a draw, have not yet lost to their opponents. A win for both would put them in the top 4. At one point in the season NorthEast flew with fans and experts who praised the organization of the team under coach Gerard Nus. But since those exciting days the team has played seven games without a win, which ultimately led to the team management deciding to part ways with Nus. You have replaced the Spaniard with Khalid Jamal, who made history with Aizawl FC in the I-League.

« Khalid is a good coach. He was very successful in Indian football and I am sure that in terms of Performance and results will bring a lot. We have to be consistent in our performance and if we are consistent, I am.  » We will work hard as a team and do our best, « said assistant coach Alison Kharsyntiew.

The Red Miners, on the other hand, come into play after two defeats at a trot. The last game against Goa was one of the worst performances of the season But Coyle feels more than inconsistent, mistakes in defense have cost his side.

« I don’t think it’s an inconsistency. We lost the first game of the season, then had a fantastic unbeaten run and then obviously we had a break and came back with a loss. We know we didn’t play the way we did. « Would have liked the other night (in the 3-0 defeat against Goa), but we created numerous chances. We did
Mistakes, both individually and collectively, and we were severely punished for them. Certainly we made a lot of mistakes in the Kerala game. And even against Goa, Goa played very well, but their chances and the goals scored are due to our mistakes. So we have to correct that, « said the former
Burnley manager said.
