Grant McCann wants to take Hull City all the way to Wembley in the Papa John’s Cup
The Tigers in the League face newcomers Harrogate at EnviroVent this evening (7 pm) in the second match of Northern Group H
Hull City lost 2-1 to Leicester U-21 in the opening match and sits four points behind Simon Weaver Town – who top the group – albeit with a lesser game.
McCann is keen to advance in the competition and says he will give opportunities to marginalized players this evening
McCann said, « It’d be nice to have some players who haven’t spent a few minutes in and around the team yet at Harrogate. »
“I made it very clear to the players that I wanted to win these two games, against Harrogate and Grimsby.
« I don’t think there will be anything better than a trip to Wembley, but we need to take care of these two games first »
