World news – Liverpool should sign Adama Traore

If the LFC sign announces the Adama Traore goal this month it could be bad news for Trent Alexander-Arnold as the winger has impressed as a right-back in the past.

Liverpool is linked to a move for Wolves’ Adama Traore and if he did join it could give Jurgen Klopp’s side a completely different dynamic.

According to Spanish news agency Sport, Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds are beginning This week everyone is keen to sign the 24-year-old this month, despite the fact that he’s battling for game time at Nuno Espirito Santo.

It also suggests the old gold wouldn’t be ready to get him for less than 40 Million euros (£ 35.6 million) as his contract doesn’t expire until 2023.

Given the impact he could potentially have on Anfield, there is no doubt that Traore has something on this Liverpool side would offer something else. His searing pace caused all sorts of problems in the Premier League last season. Andrew Robertson ended a tough game against the winger when the Reds won 2-1 at Molineux.

« [Traore] is unplayable in a few moments, it’s incredible. What a player – it’s not just him but he’s so good. «

So the German manager is clearly a huge fan of the former academy prospect in Barcelona and might like to see Michael Edwards bring him to Anfield during the current transfer window.

The form of the Wolfman last season was spectacular at times, as he contributed four goals and nine assists in 37 top appearances, which resulted in an excellent average rating of 7.47.

However, this season he has about playing time and fought goals, started only 11 top division games and didn’t make a single goal contribution, although his solid average rating of 6.97 suggests he’s still doing well.

We If he moved to Liverpool this month, he would not only add potentially incredible speed and power to Liverpool’s attack, but could also serve as a right-back for the Reds.

During his tenure at Wolves, Traore was a right-back several times and he could even challenge the out of shape Trent Alexander-Arnold for a spot on Klopp’s first team.

Liverpool full-backs are often free to attack, as we’ve seen as Andrew Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have provided so many assists in recent seasons despite the fact that Traore gave Alexander-Arnold a different dynamic as he was able to use his pace and physicality to beat defenders before they cross from the sideline, rather from the depths. If Traore were used as a right-back in Klopp’s team, he could push forward and get crosses into the penalty area, similar like the 22-year-old defender, who has fought for form on average this season, has a disappointing 6.71 rating for his top division performance.

1. Which of these results mathematically secured Liverpool the title?

Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United

Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City

Liverpool 4-0 Crystal Palace

Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City

So if Liverpool can sign Traore, it could mean Alexander-Arnold’s performances improve due to the added competition. However, if that doesn’t happen, he could fear his first-team spot is really under threat.

And in other news … Klopp may sign LFC’s next Coutinho in a £ 30m beast, that « absolutely nothing is missing ».
