A haunting photo shows a tourist stepping to the edge of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe just moments before he fell more than 350 feet to his death, according to local media.
Roy George Tinashe Dikinya, 40, switched took his family off to snap photos of the top of the giant waterfall as it fell over the edge, witnesses told Zimbabwe Newsday.
« We were alarmed by the woman’s scream and she told us he was he slipped and fell, « one of the newspapers told Dikinya, who was wearing sandals and was holding several things in his left hand in the photo.

Rescuers from the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority found body parts at the bottom of the canyon, which is at least 350 feet high, according to the chronicle.
« We were able to find it because of the location where the body is trapped , not clearly identify, but we are sure it’s his body, « he said.
» Right now we’re in communication with other security experts, including the army, to try to find ways to get the body, « he said, being one option was to use a military helicopter.
Government Minister Mangaliso Ndlovu expressed « sincere condolences » to the tourist’s family from Zimbabwe’s capital Harare, more than 400 miles from the falls, according to The Herald.
» This is a rare, tragic and unfortunate incident that must be watched at the mighty Victoria Falls, « said Ndlovu, promising to » take all necessary precautions to prevent such an unfortunate incident from recurring. «
It just is the recent tragedy of people taking photos of dangerous places. A Brazilian man died a few weeks ago after falling from a waterfall and taking a selfie.
