Morgan Wallen apologizes after using a racial fraud. The 27-year-old country singer was videotaped using the N-word and some other inappropriate language when he came home after a night out with his friends.
The clip received from TMZ shows Wallen getting to his seat goes and tells someone to « take care of » this « p **** a ** motherf ** ker ». « Take care of this p **** a ** n *****, » he adds.
« I am embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial fraud, the I’d like to take back, « Wallen said in a statement to ET. « There are no excuses to use this type of language. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better. »
« It’s not his first time he’s used that ‘unacceptable’ racial fraud, and we all knew it. What exactly are you going to do about it? Crickets won’t work this time, « she tweeted. « How many passes will you keep giving? Asking a friend. Nobody deserves to be canceled, but that’s unacceptable. »

This isn’t the first time Wallen has made headlines. Back in October, he was banned from performing on Saturday Night Live after violating COVID-19 protocols by partying in a bar. Lorne Michael called him personally to invite him back on the show eight weeks later. During his December 5th appearance, he made fun of himself – with the help of Jason Bateman – for being bumped off the show. He was also arrested last May for public poisoning.
ET spoke to Wallen last month on his first show in 10 months where he touched on the needs of fame and the attention he receives. When asked if his life felt like a non-stop machine, he said « sometimes » to ET’s Rachel Smith, describing that they are « commitments and things that you are no longer really in control of, you know? «
» And then just under the microscope. I think I wrote [« Livin ‘the Dream »] before I really understood what I meant, « he explained. « In a way, it was almost a prophecy. I didn’t really get what this song meant, but the longer I have to do this and the more success I get and things like that, the more days I wake up and I just want to get away … And I think that’s probably what this song says most of the time. «
“But I’m not complaining,” he remarked. « Like most days that I wake up, I’m excited to do that, you know, and some days I’m not. »
