Lebron James did a stunt against the cops on Saturday that put the Lakers star under the microscope with some fans.
Lebron James, who is in his 18th season in the NBA, is keeping the Los Angeles Lakers busy this season as the club begins its quest for a replay as NBA champions.
When it emerged That teammate and Chicago native Anthony Davis was at home on business and helped the Lakers run away by a sovereign margin in the first quarter with 15 points in the first frame of a 101-90 win over the Chicago Bulls, James decided to play a few other games on the floor.
James walked the tight rope over the goalscorer’s table, which went largely unnoticed during the broadcast as he appeared innocent. But fans on Twitter didn’t.
There were a number of reactions on social media that resulted in James being thrown, suspended or at least given a technical foul.
Some fans also signaled the privileges that he had granted as the league’s most influential player, arguing that Demarcus Cousins or Draymond Green would have been disciplined.
Given the amount of attention and revenue that James brings to the league, one fan lamented that Kill James on the floor and run away unscathed. Another pointed to James walking the tightrope symbolizing his power in the NBA.
This is what it feels like to own the NBA, and the referees, officials and the commissioner’s office know but can do nothing about it.

Regardless of whether James’ actions warrant disciplinary action, it was a look at the Lakers star that kept things easy during the regular season.

Lauri Markkanen went 0 to 5 with 3 pointers and finished the game with 12 points. The Bulls who started five shot only 5 out of 19 from a distance in an unusually poor shooting performance.
The Bulls aim to get back on track against the Boston Celtics on Monday. Meanwhile, their game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday was postponed due to health and safety protocols. Your next game will instead be against the Portland Trailblazers on Saturday.
