World news – « Nothing but absolute heartbreak » when the Queensland boy dies from electrocution in tragedy


A 17-year-old boy who was electrocuted Tuesday night was identified as the school captain of a school in Queensland.

Liam Keegan died on the scene at Thyme Court in Upper Caboolture, north of Brisbane.

The incident occurred during the pouring rain and one witness claimed to hear « desperate screams, » reports the Caboolture Shire Herald.

« With nothing but absolute heartbreak, my family announces the sudden death of our son, brother and best friend Pals Liam Keegan.

« We are so overwhelmed by the love and support we have been shown and deeply grateful for the fellowship of people we have. »
