Nvidia’s breakthrough technology that brings more FPS for a minimal visual hit, DLSS, is officially coming to Activision’s free battle royale title Call of Duty Warzone. The tech giant announced the news today during his keynote address for CES 2021, where he talked about new features, products, and more.
Unfortunately, Nvidia didn’t say when exactly we could expect DLSS in Call of Duty Warzone. If we had to guess, we’d say it comes in a future update, but whether that’s in weeks or months is really hard to say.
With DLSS, those who prefer higher frame rates can enjoy the performance of Boost Call of Duty Warzone to well over 200 FPS without affecting the resolution of other graphics settings. And since high frame rates are incredibly important in shooter games, it could lead to more Warzone victories. Remember, whatever your rig or frame rates, skill comes first.
Call of Duty: MW / Warzone, surprise!
In other news about Nvidia CES 2021, the company also announced that there are now a total of 36 games powered by RTX technologies, including ray tracing, DLSS, or both. It’s safe to say that more and more games are adopting the technology, making buying an RTX 2000 or 3000 series graphics card a viable option. If only Nvidia had some in stock.
