World news – Packages of white powder wash up on Far North Queensland beach

Police in Far North Queensland are calling for help from the public after parcels of white powder, believed to be cocaine, were washed up on Hinchinbrook Island.

The powder, weighing around one kilogram, was found Spotted by the public at high tide on Sunday in Ramsay Bay.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Graham Camp said police wanted to speak to everyone else in the area.

« Anyone at sea or on the coast has been near these locations and has seen suspicious things in the water or other suspicious activity is encouraged to contact the police, ”he said washed up on the coast.
