Pakistan beat South Africa by 7 wickets in the first Test of the two-test series in Karachi.
The Proteas were thrown for 245 runs in their second innings on the fourth day on Friday morning.
With that the hosts set a victory goal of just 88 runs as they had a 158 run lead in the first innings.
Pakistan reached the goal with minimal effort, finishing 90-3 for a comfortable win and a 1-0 lead .
The second and final test will begin next Thursday at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and will be followed by a 3-match T20 series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
