World news – Pioneer Woman’s family members were injured in a fire truck accident near the Drummond family ranch in Pawhuska


PAWHUSKA, Okla. – Two fire trucks crashed Wednesday afternoon while responding to a fire that spread to the Drummond family ranch near Pawhuska.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that two fire trucks left about eight on County Road N3660 We crashed head-on miles west of Pawhuska, seriously injuring the driver, 21-year-old Caleb Drummond.

The driver of the other truck, 57-year-old Ladd Drummond, refused medical treatment on site, according to soldiers.

The two men are believed to be the husband and nephew of Ree Drummond, also known as « The Pioneer ».

« Due to high winds on a gravel road, visibility was reduced which resulted in Vehicle-1 and vehicle-2 collided head-on.  » Soldiers said in a statement.

The ranch belongs to the family of TV personality and food writer Ree Drummond, also known as the « Pioneer Woman ».

Firefighters in the area and northeast Oklahoma have been fighting since Monday Weed fires aided by windy conditions.
