Police issued an emergency statement under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) after a dangerous chemical was found in a house in Bilinga this afternoon.
The exclusion zone is the Pacific Parade between Graham Street and Johnston Street, including Cahill Street, and was declared at 3:23 p.m.
Residents of the exclusion zone are encouraged to follow the advice of the local emergency services.
