PwC has told employees that after the pandemic, they will be able to work from home about half of their time, with start times and summer lunch breaks being more flexible on Fridays.
The accounting firm announced that their 22,000 employees in the UK are expected to spend between 40 and 60 percent of their time in the office or with customers.
An “empowered” work day means employees have more freedom of choice about when to work, which means earlier start and end times The working day on Fridays in July and August will be shorter, with the majority of employees who are expected to finish by lunchtime having shortened their working week.
