Campbell initially had a troubled January with a 3-4 stretch that left the team under .500 a year (Aug. -9). Since then, however, it has been a nice string of victories for the camels. They have beaten Charleston Southern, USC Upstate, Hampton, High Point and Gardner-Webb in their last eight games.

In the 63:57 win over Gardner-Webb, Campbell’s Jordan Whitfield led the team with 18 points and four rebounds in 38 minutes. Joshua Lusane added 11 points with nine rebounds and three assists for the Camels.

Over on the Radford side they had a decent run early last month and sat 13-7 after a 9-1 stretch for the Highlanders fought losing to Winthrop and Gardner-Webb in their next four, but defeated Mount Aloysius and Hampton in their last pair.

In Monday’s 67:52 win over Hampton, Radford’s Shaquan Jules put up 15 points with 10 rebounds to lead the team. Lewis Djonkam added 12 points and two boards and Dravon Mangum had 11 points with eight rebounds.

The Highlanders have ATS 1-4 in their last five home games and ATS 0-4 in their last four Thursday games. Radford is 1-4 ATS in their last five totals and the under is 4-0 in their last four totals.

Meanwhile, after an ATS win, the Camels have 4-0 ATS in their last four and 5 : 0-ATS in the last five total. Campbell is 5-0 ATS in their last five as favorites and the under is 4-1 in their last four overall.

PICK: I’m sticking with Campbell. However, this should be a very interesting matchup. The last time these teams met, Radford won 97-91 (3OT) and 67-61. Those losses have been the only blemishes for Campbell since Jan 10th so they have a lot of motivation here. This one will likely be around too, but the camels have been playing well lately and I think they can turn it off.
