Marco Stiepermann played in Colney’s 2-0 defeat at Norwich City against Leeds United’s U-23s on Friday afternoon in Colney as he reinforced his return from a virus.
The attacking midfielder has been since on December 19, in a 2-0 championship win against Cardiff, no longer part of the first team that was set up for the Canaries after he was finally diagnosed with the Epstein-Barr virus.
Stiepermann has now withdrawn from Immune system virus recovered and started against Leeds in a home team that included Bali Mumba, Josh Martin and Melvin Sitti.
