St. Kilda defender Ben Paton suffered a broken leg during the club’s intra-club game Thursday.
According to AFL Media’s Mitch Cleary, Paton received club medical attention after he fell on injured left lower leg.
The 22-year-old was taken away from RSEA Park in an ambulance as the club’s injuries continue to rise.
Ruckman Rowan Marshall will miss the start of the season with a foot injury while midfielder Zak Jones is currently out due to a thigh strain.
