One of the most rumored and in-demand characters for Street Fighter 5 in years of the game was Rose, and now we know when her return will be on the big stage.
In addition to their big gameplay showcase at the Spring Update event, Capcom also announced Rose’s official release date for SF5. It will be out in the next few weeks.
Rose will hit SF5 in just 13 days, with a release date set for Monday, April 19th, although not all of the fighting game comes on that day, as does her classic stage Marina of Fortune falls.
The upcoming fighter is said to have five costumes in total, although the only one we could see during the stream was her traditional attire, which looks like an updated version of the one she used in her arcade ending from Street Fighter Alpha 2 wore.
They did not confirm whether all of her outfits will be available on launch day or whether she will only have the standard story and combat costumes to choose from.
For those looking to pick up the game in year five, offers Capcom is running a special sale through April 29th. The base game is discounted to $ 8, $ 20.09 for the Champion Edition, and $ 14.99 for the Champion Edition Upgrade Kit for PlayStation 4.
Rose can be purchased separately for $ 5.99 or as part of the Season 5 Character Pass can be purchased for $ 24.99. The Premium Pass costs $ 39.99 and comes with everything from the Character Pass, plus the bonus character Elf and additional costumes.

Rose’s release timing is what we predicted earlier, as Capcom apparently followed a similar window to what they did for Dan after the Winter Update stream.
