The three-time Slovak world champion Peter Sagan scored his first win of the season in the sixth and penultimate stage of the Volta a Catalunya in Spain.
Sagan from the Bora-Hansgrohe team overtook two rivals on Saturday in the last sprint of the twisty technical stage to break his 15-month drought.
Briton Adam Yates retained his overall lead, while Richie Porte, his Australian team-mate at Ineos Grenadiers, remains in second place overall with just one stage left.
Porte took 28th place on Saturday on the 193.8 km drive from Tarragona to Mataro and is 45 seconds behind Yates.
The Briton Geraint Thomas, who also drives for Ineos Granadiers, is only four seconds behind the Australian third place overall and prepares the stage for the last ride on Sunday.
