Fox host Sean Hannity was caught in the air Thursday night while cooling and steaming a little too long.
After the show’s final commercial break, Hannity’s graphics were displayed and he appeared on screen as usual, however he apparently wasn’t ready as he was still wearing reading glasses and had a vape pen in his mouth.
A barely audible stage whisper of “Sean! Sean! « caught his attention, however, and caused him to pull the vape pen out of his mouth violently. A quick glance straight into the camera was followed by an embarrassed look back at his producer, whereupon he reinserted his earbuds and a sharp » Uh oh! »
Then he got up to start his final segment « Bad Guy of the Day », but those few seconds of dead air rolled his show into that of Laura Ingraham, who decided to make fun of her predecessor.
When the split screen handover appeared seconds later, Ingraham pretended to be caught unsuspecting as well, holding a glass of water and waving, « Oh, am I in front of the camera? »
That Couple then laughed at Hannity’s Flub and Ingraham joked that Fox viewers got a glimpse of « the real Sean Hannity ».
