However, Nebraska stayed close to Maryland throughout the game, with Cam Mack blocking a grid from Jalen Smith in the final seconds to secure the Maryland win.

Last Nebraska win: March 14, 2019 – Nebraska 69 -61; After Maryland won the regular season, they faced Nebraska for the third time, this time in the Big Ten tournament. Nebraska defeated Rutgers in the opening round and brought that momentum to the fore to claim a jaw-dropping victory over Maryland # 21. James Palmer Jr., Isaiah Roby and Glynn Watson Jr. together scored 58 of the 69 points in Nebraska when the Cornhuskers upset the Terrapins.

On January 1, 2017, Nebraska passed a 13-point deficit six minutes before the end of the terps. Melo Trimble had a chance to tie or win the game, but missed the summer beater when Nebraska scored a 67-65 win.
