James Charles shocked fans on Thursday night when he unveiled his latest look in Instagram history: a completely shaved head. The beauty blogger showed the new « do » at dinner where he was stopped by the paparazzi, but while claiming it was the real deal and he actually shaved his head, some fans are not buying it.
While speaking with photographer Kevin Wong on his way to dinner, James said the shaved head was his way of « trying something new ». He informed the paparazzi that he shaved it himself because he « had to film the whole thing ».
James posted photos of his shaved head on Twitter, but fans aren’t convinced it’s real. Most think it’s a bald head he wears for a video. One Twitter user, @ katieradley3, joked that the title of his next video will likely be, « I’ve been bald for 24 hours. »
Another fan pointed out that the photo on the right shows the strange coloring on his head, which he probably put makeup on to mix in the bald cap.
We love you, but we can say it’s a bald cap. You can tell that makeup was put on the head because of the different color and matte finish.
Most likely fans are right and it’s just a bald head, but honestly I don’t hate the way it looks and I do don’t think i’d be crazy if it turned out to be real James can hold back a bald head.
