World news – Sony’s new Xperia Pro Phone costs $ 2,500 and can be used as an external camera monitor

Sony has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone: the Xperia Pro for USD 2,500. The signature feature of the Xperia Pro is aimed at content creators and photography fans and is the HDMI port that provides improved connectivity for multiple devices.

With this unique design feature, Xperia Pro owners can connect their phone directly to one of the alpha Connect Sony cameras or another camera with HDMI input. There are two ways to do this. On a simpler level, the large 6.5-4K OLED inch display serves as a premium secondary screen for each camera, and on a more complex level, it allows owners to stream live directly from the camera’s lens and record high quality video in real time . However, Mashable notes that camera compatibility varies. Interested parties should therefore check compatibility with their cameras before fully committing.

In addition to being compatible with digital cameras and the large screen, the Xperia Pro has 12 megapixel ultra-wide, wide and telephoto lenses on the back, that can be used to capture oversized raw photos and 4K videos. It is also Sony’s first 5G compatible phone and features a 4,000 mAh battery as well as a unique design with antennas embedded in all four corners for optimal signal.

Look for the Sony Xperia Pro which should be fully rolled out over the next few weeks. Further technical innovations can be found in the medium format camera GFX 100S from Fujifilm with a 102 megapixel sensor.
