Stephen Curry, the guardian of the warriors, is out against the Raptors in Tampa, Florida on Friday night after worsening the tailbone injury that recently paused him for five games. Head coach Steve Kerr said Curry should be ready to play in Atlanta on Sunday.
Curry, who was injured against the Houston Rockets on March 17, had played the last two games and had a total of 68 points in 20v43 shooting, 16 ricochets and nine assists than Golden State on Monday Bulls defeated and lost to the heat Thursday.
However, Curry played with pain in both games. He landed hard on his bum on Thursday when he filed a charge and asked questions about his availability for Friday’s game in Tampa.
« I have to see how I feel when I wake up, » said Curry after Thursday’s defeat. « Hopefully I’m making progress on where I wake up and feel good and know what I’m up against and can play, but we will monitor that. »
Curry averages 29.2 points with 47.5% shooting (41% from 3-point range), 6.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals. The warriors (23-25) are 1-6 without curry.

Friday’s Curry will likely face Jordan Poole, who started as point guard in the five missed games Curry missed. Meanwhile, center Kevon Looney, who quit Thursday’s game with a broken ankle, is not on the injury report. Striker Eric Paschall, who has not played in the last two games with an injured wrist, is available.
