The Louisiana woman who went viral for using Gorilla Glue as a hairspray finally breaks free – a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon reportedly offered to remove the sticky material for free.
Tessica Brown , whose hair has been stuck in place for a month, has already sought medical help on a trip to the emergency room – the acetone treatment only made the situation worse and burned her scalp, she claimed.
Now plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng told her that he can finally end her sticky situation by using a medical glue remover in a procedure that could take three days, TMZ said.
Brown, who sold more than 13,000 US dollars in an online fundraiser Dollar is due to fly to Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The procedure is valued at $ 12,500, but Obeng has offered to do it for free, the report said.
Brown went viral when she revealed on TikTok that her hair was stuck on for a month after using the extra strong superglue after running out of her usual hair product.
« Bad, bad, bad idea, » she said in the original clip , which has been seen more than 20 million times by Tuesday morning.
According to reports, she is considering suing the nightmare with the glue, which is only intended to be used on products such as wood, laminate, fabric, paper and cardboard.
Gorilla Glue tweeted s a sympathy for the « unfortunate situation » – however stressed that there was no reason to believe that it would make sense to apply it on hair.
« This is a unique situation as this product is not intended for use in or is indicated on hair as it is considered permanent, « emphasized the company.
