World news – The reality star’s haunting final tweet


The only way is Essex reality star Mick Norcross sent a haunting final tweet about « Remind yourself you did the best you could » just hours before he was found dead.

Friends of the 57-year-old who owns Essex’s famous Sugar Hut nightclub have paid tribute to the star.

He told his 500,000 followers, « In the end, remember that you did the best you could. And that is good enough. »

He posted the message at 7:17 a.m. UK time Thursday morning before his body was discovered at his home in Bulphan, Essex.

On Sunday he wrote: « We wish everyone a healthy, safe and relaxed Sunday in these uncertain times. »

Mick describes himself as follows in his Twitter bio: « Proud father & grandfather, love antiques, old cars, nature & everything British, positive thinker. »

When news of his untimely death spread, fans replied with broken hearts to Mick telling him to « rest in peace ».

Mick joined the cast of TOWIE in the early series, joining his son Kirk, Mark Wright, Mario and Lucy Mecklenburgh.

The popular television celebrity caught the attention of Gemma Collins and the couple went out on dates in the early episodes.

He also dated fellow stars Chloe Sims and Maria Fowler before leaving the show in 2013.

Mick had four children, including The Only Way’s Essex star Kirk Norcross by Julie Lloyd.

After the show was over, he became a developer and was given the green light to build a gorgeous rural mansion in leafy Essex in 2018.
