A teenage driver is on trial in South Australia after police made an unheard-of find in the trunk of her car over the weekend.
The 18-year-old woman was arrested by police for shortly before 1am on Sunday morning stopped a breath test on Caroona Road in Port Augusta.
Two of these passengers, who were both teenage girls, were found in the trunk of the car.
The 18-year-old was reported for exceeding the prescribed alcohol concentration , violated her provisional driver’s license and drove with more than one passenger over the age of 16 who was not wearing a seat belt.
The woman lost her driver’s license for six months and her car was confiscated for 28 days.
