The State Veterans Home System from Mississippi State Veterans Affairs was recognized with the Pinnacle Quality Insight 2021 Customer Experience Award.

With the award, MSVA reached the top 15% of long-term care facilities in the country on an average of 12 months. This is the second year in a row that MSVA has won the award.

« We are so proud of our team members who work in our four State Veterans Homes, » said Stacey Pickering, Executive Director of MSVA. « Whether they are administrators, nurses, cleaning and catering staff, this award shows our commitment to our mission to provide world-class service, care and support to our veterans and their families. »

Every month in 2020, the Residents and their families participated in telephone interviews that included open-ended questions and the opportunity to rate MSVA in specific categories.
