Girardi’s brother Robert Girardi has filed a statement in the involuntary bankruptcy proceedings of 81-year-old Tom, alleging he has short-term memory loss and needs a conservatory. This is evident from legal records received from The Blast.
Robert claims in the filing that the estranged husband of « The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills » star Erika Jayne « is unable to make rational decisions about his financial responsibility » and is « unable to. » Able to see the consequences of the bankruptcy filings « .
Robert says he is trying to become his brother’s conservator and will help the bankruptcy court get access to Tom’s records. He also claims that Tom is unable to have a « reasonable conversation » about his various legal problems.
« My brother has a short-term memory loss and often asks the same questions over and over again, » says in the documents.
As previously reported, Tom’s partner at the law firm, Robert Keese, is suing the liquidation of his company known as the 1126 Wilshire Partnership. Keese, along with Robert Finnerty and Jill O’Callahan, claims Tom never paid them the roughly $ 315,000 partnership income, claiming he took the money « for his own personal gain. » The three plaintiffs also allege in the documents that Tom, without their knowledge, took out loans of up to $ 7.46 million on the property. As a result, plaintiffs claim they suffered an equity loss of approximately $ 442,500 each.
Additionally, Tom is in the middle of a class lack of funds lawsuit in the Lion Air settlement. He is also being sued by Wells Fargo Financial Services for allegedly violating a written agreement and speaking to the bank.
