The NSW Rural Fire Service has confirmed that two people were killed in a light aircraft crash in the Yass Valley just across the ACT border.
According to NSW RFS, the Cessna fixed-wing aircraft crashed at around 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday in Tallagandra near Sutton.
The plane is believed to have conducted aerial inspections on nearby power lines prior to the crash.
Police and RFS are currently on the scene, turning residents away from Tallagandra Lane.
