Two young men were killed in an accident at Nuriootpa in South Australia’s Barossa Valley killed overnight, and a third person who was in the back of the ute was hospitalized.
The 23-year-old driver and the 20-year-old passenger were in the vehicle when it faced on Angaston Road bumped a tree.
Police and paramedics were called around 2:30 a.m., but both men from the Barossa region died at the scene.
Police said a third person was in the « back of the. » Utility « had been flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle had been traveling east when it hit the tree on the south side of the road.
Angaston Road was between the LightPass Road and Research Road closed and diverted.
The death of the men killed 28 people on SA roads this year, compared to 25 last year at this time.
The incident occurred after several other terrible accidents in the past few weeks, including one that killed two people on the Stuart Highway earlier this month.
