(Trinidad Express) Police Commissioner Gary Griffith hailed Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s decision to bring in British and Barbadian police to assist with investigations into the seizure and subsequent disappearance of 22 million dollars in cash that was found in a house in Kathleen Warner Drive, La Horquetta, on September 22

Griffith said these foreign agents would not be consultants, but would be sworn in as special reserve police officers and have the powers of TTPS agents to assist with this investigation

Rowley, as chairman of the National Security Council, said on Thursday he had contacted the British and Barbados governments for advice on how to handle the case Prime Minister awaits the arrival of foreign investigators

Young also said he had been in contact with the National Crime Agency in Britain (NCA) and requested the NCA’s help with the investigation into the DSS system.
