MS Dhoni: The last four games when we were at the bowling alley we just needed to shut it down well The shuffling was a bit worrying and today too it was obvious We need to do something about it I think that we better play the other way around, play the bigger shots even if you come out Our stick was a little lacking in power from the sixth We have no plans to tackle the bowlers who will play from the sixth at the 14th edition Either we give too much in the first six overs or too much in the last six overs There are too many holes in the boat Our main concern is still the batting department We will try to be expressive in the next games

It will also be interesting to see what approach CSK takes with an out of the ordinary Kedar Jadhav The India international has yet to contribute with the bat, and his strike rate hasn’t been great either. His struggles in running the strike and hitting big shots against KKR have not gone unnoticed, and the question remains whether the Chennai franchise will back the 35-year-old or consider other options.
Skipper Dhoni’s form with the bat was not great either, and despite a few scores his approach of delaying the assault was one of the reasons for some of CSK’s failures in the pursuit.
RCB, on the other hand, seems to be finding its rhythm, despite its recent loss A Super Over victory over the Mumbai Indians was followed by a stroll over the Rajasthan Royals, before they faltered against the Delhi Capitals in shape
