West Sydney man has been charged after prosecuting three teenagers who allegedly stole his car, ending in a horror car crash that left two boys dead
It is understood the man, from Edmondson Park, chased the teens in a second car on Sunday morning after they allegedly stole a vehicle from his home
Police were called to a roundabout in Abbotsbury, 40 kilometers west of Sydney CBD, around 4:20 a.m. after learning that a car had hit a pole
Upon arrival, they found a crashed black Holden Commodore SS on the corner of Cowpasture Road and Horsley Drive
« Police learned that the vehicle was traveling north on Cowpasture Road when it exited the carriageway before the roundabout and struck a pole, » NSW police said in a statement
On Sunday afternoon, he was charged with five offenses: two counts of dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm and two counts of negligent driving causing death
A third teenager, another 17-year-old boy, was taken to hospital where he remains in police custody with « non-life threatening injuries »
The 37-year-old was released on bail to appear in local court in Liverpool on November 25
