Neil Robertson and Mark Selby played an all-time classic in the Champion of Champions semi-final on Friday night, in what has been described as the best game ever on the best of 11 frames

Robertson ultimately beat Selby 6-5 in a relentless high-scoring affair with both men making three centureis

Six centuries in 11 frames equal Robertson’s record with Judd Trump in their epic 2016 Masters quarter-finals, which Trump beat 6-5

The Aussie was thrilled to be involved in yet another classic and crack game against Selby, having beaten him by the same score in the recent England Open

« The last game we played in the English Open semi-finals was also a very high level, I hit in three centuries in that one, I just kept going, » said the Thunder of Down Under

« Without the crowd I think the norm is a fraction better, when you miss it doesn’t really put you under pressure, although I didn’t really miss too much

Robertson now faces Mark Allen or Judd Trump in the Champion of Champions final and he expects another high quality fight against either man

‘He was probably the best player in the world a few years ago when he came to the UK final, beat me in the International final, won the Scotsman and he seems to be going back to that form

‘Judd continues to make finals and win tournaments, I think I was the only player to beat him in the final last year, so we hope we can repeat if that’s him
