The North Queensland Cowboys looked into the airport sex scandal that rocked the club this morning

News broke that a club player in 2018 had sex with a female staff member in the bathroom at the Qantas Lounge when the Cowboys returned to Townsville via Brisbane

« The North Queensland Cowboys are aware of a series of allegations published today by the Sydney Morning Herald, » the statement read.

« The club gives its full support to the parties concerned as their well-being is of the utmost importance

« As the NRL is currently investigating the allegations, it is not appropriate for the club or its related parties to make any further comments »
