Six young people were hospitalized after an overdose of a questionable batch of GHB
Three men and three women, aged 20 to 30, were transported to Flinders Medical Center in Adelaide on Thursday morning
Two of them are in serious but stable condition in intensive care, while four are in stable condition
The overdoses have prompted health authorities to issue an urgent warning about taking the psychoactive drug, fearing that a questionable batch is circulating in the city

Emergency services clinical director Dr Andrew Blyth said health officials fear there is no more of this GHB in the community
« Patients don’t seem to be related to each other due to being at an event or gathering and it is very unusual for us to see so many isolated cases entering the emergency department at one time given, » he told 7News
M Blyth warned anyone who took liquid medicine to go to the emergency room immediately, even if they had no symptoms
Symptoms of an overdose include loss of consciousness, confusion, irritation, restlessness and irregular or shallow breathing
