World News – UA – Urgent recall of Corolla with potentially fatal airbags

A total of 6,260 cars are affected by the recall which covers the previously recalled cars for driver airbag replacement (PRA2017 / 15950 – GGG30 campaign)

This time, the airbag on the front passenger side is the subject of the recall

Product Safety Australia (part of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) said the airbag can send metal fragments to occupants of the vehicle if the airbag deploys

Owners of these cars should contact their Toyota dealership to arrange a free replacement airbag inflator
