The 2021 Masters Snooker Draw was held in the middle of the session of the British Championship Final on Sunday.
The draw for the 2021 Masters is widely considered to be the second largest tournament in the sport after the Snooker World Championship and again makes it into the top 16 of the official world rankings.
Stuart Bingham is the top seed following his success last January, and the reigning champion will begin his defense against debutant Thepchaiya Un-Nooh – the first Thai to appear in the tournament in more than two decades.
The seven-time world champion and record champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is second and faces Ding Junhui in the first round.
Judd Trump and Neil Robertson, who are currently playing the final of the British Championship in Milton Keynes, will meet David Gilbert and Yan Bingtao.
Elsewhere, there are former Masters battles between John Higgins and Mark Allen, and Mark Williams and Shaun Murphy.
Former runner-up Kyren Wilson will face Jack Lisowski while three-time winner Mark Selby will face Stephen Maguire.
Every tournament of the 2020/21 season has been played behind closed doors in the Marshall Arena.
Following the UK government’s recent decision to allow a limited number of fans to attend sporting events, it is hoped that the Masters will take place in their regular home at Alexandra Palace, London.
Former ticket holders initially had the opportunity to apply for an extension. Tickets for additional seats will go on sale this morning.
The Masters is the second oldest professional tournament on the calendar and dates back to its opening event in 1975.
