The time of goodwill and festive cheer is just around the corner, and you will be pleased to know that festive cheer is exactly what Coronation Street has in store for us this week.
We definitely need a little cheer, and ITV soap has plenty of reasons to smile for fans as David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) reenact their wedding in touching scenes.
Meanwhile, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) have little time to think about when they receive a phone call from Social Services asking them to sponsor Baby Mason.
The holiday season also brings some sadness when Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) attacks Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) while struggling to cope with Oliver’s tragic death.
Elhwere, Gary Windass (Mikey North) faces the music when police question him about the disappearance of Rick Neelan (Greg Wood).
