In a moving post, the veteran actress revealed she was celebrating the life of her son Jeff Thrasher, who sadly passed away at age 56 after a reported battle with leukemia.

Gray – best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing in the 1970s series Dallas – has shared two throwback photos of Jeff: one with his bike in the woods and one with his name on the sand on the beach.
The actress greeted her son back in 1964 when she was married to his father, Ed Thrasher, an American art director and photographer.
They also welcomed a daughter together, Kehly, now 54. The couple divorced in 1983 after 21 years of marriage.
Like his mother, Jeff was part of the Hollywood community. He worked as a producer on television projects such as Junior Chef Showdown and The Amazing Race Canada.
After hearing the sad news, stars from the Dallas reboot, where Gray has been on various guest stays, reached out to their co-star.
