Shock waves will spread across Albert Square as a mysterious perpetrator suspends Ian’s life.
Ian’s recent behavior upset many locals when he cheated on Max Branning along with his own mother, Kathy, upset son Peter, who berated half-brother Ben Mitchell at the police station, and upset Suki Panesar.
In next week’s EastEnders, viewers will see Sharon Watts find Ian on the floor of The Queen Vic and immediately call Kathy to the scene.

They can’t find a pulse and panic while waiting for the ambulance to take Ian to the hospital.
It’s Jack Branning in charge of the investigation while the police try to figure out who wants Ian Beale dead.
The task turns out to be difficult given he has so much grudge against him and many locals are suspicious – including Linda Carter, Max Branning, Bobby and Peter Beale, and Stuart Highway.
It doesn’t take long, however, before Jack is arrested and believes he knows who tried to kill Ian.
The fate of Ian Beale and the name of the guilty perpetrator remain unclear for the time being.
