Santa is coming to town soon and we know how to spot him.

It has become a tradition in many family homes to look out for the International Space Station (ISS) and tell young children that it’s Santa Claus on his sled.

And this year you can keep an eye out for him on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as he flies to and from home delivering gifts around the world.

The International Space Station is the largest space station laboratory ever built and orbits the earth.

Because it reflects light from the sun, it looks like a bright light (or indeed Santa’s sleigh) going by.

If your little ones get up early with all the excitement on Christmas Eve, you have two chances to spot him.

On Christmas Day itself, you can see him flying home for breakfast at 5 a.m.. 30 p.m. for one minute and 7. 03 minutes for six minutes.

Basically, you are looking for a bright, white light in the sky. The space station looks like an airplane or a very bright star moving across the sky, except that it has no flashing lights or changes direction.

It will also move significantly faster than a typical airplane (airplanes generally fly at about 600 miles per hour; the space station flies at 17. 500 miles per hour).

We need a clear sky to see it. So keep your fingers crossed for a favorable forecast.

Go to the spot station. NASA. Government for more details on where to look and how to pursue.
