Penny Lancaster shared how she lost more than one stone in eight weeks after turning to comfort food during the lockdown
The Loose Women star confessed that going through menopause while being restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic caused her anxiety and stress
But less than two months after ‘humiliating herself’ with photos to reverse bad habits, Sir Rod Stewart’s 49-year-old wife, 75, lost 17 pounds thanks to healthy eating and exercise

The mother of Alastair, 14, and Aiden, nine, shared a before and after image of her belly on Instagram explaining that the lockdown had a huge effect on her
« During the lockdown, I found myself entering my menopause and the side effects were exaggerated by anxiety and fear of the virus and the unknown
« I turned to food and drink for comfort and won on a stone Like a wake-up call I’m ashamed [myself] taking a picture It worked and with a new diet and exercise, I lost 17 pounds and 4 inches off my waistline in eight weeks! «
Penny then shared an example of the type of food she had eaten, with an omelet full of peppers, spinach and bacon cooked in a skillet.

Penny had opened up about her foreclosure struggles in August when she appeared via a video link on Loose Women
She said she got so angry at one point that she got so angry that she threw a meal into a room
