Yeah, speaking of the acts they, like everyone else, had a tough six months I really felt for them in the semi-finals Normally if you’re seen on a massive show like BGT you get a lot more of reservations and are able to ride this wave, but they have not had the opportunity to work at all I think winning the final will mean more than ever for deeds
Thought this was a great idea It means there is an audience and the giant screen looks great Plus the audience can clap and laugh We even had a lady flashing her boobs! Making TV shows became a matter of creativity to work with the restrictions This series from BGT had been better than anyone could have imagined under these very strange circumstances
I didn’t know anything about the performance until I saw it, but I found it to be incredibly powerful and moving It was one of the greatest TV moments of all time I don’t understand the controversy because that the post is not controversial, but if it has sparked debate it’s a good thing Being able to use your imagination and talent like that to get the whole country thinking is a very special thing I 100% support Ashley about it and I told him immediately after the performance that he was a great artist Not only is Ashley a gorgeous dancer, but he is an extremely talented choreographer and creative forceI was totally impressed
Yes, I’m going to exclude myself from this, but I think the mark of a good talent show judge is being able to say something negative I know I rarely do that but Ashley wasn’t afraid to criticize the actions He didn’t just tell everyone how wonderful they were, which of course I do I felt he was telling the truth every time he opened his mouth I thought : “You’re right I would have liked to say that! Although viewers probably prefer me to be stupid rather than getting too serious
Fill in its slot Well if you have had a serious injury and had an operation you need to listen to the doctors If they tell you you need to rest then you need to rest If you have just had an operation back, should you take an 11 hour flight from Los Angeles to London? It would be crazy so I’m glad Simon takes a little time and recovers properly The worst would be if he had rushed back to work and then plagued by other back problems Simon doesn’t need to come back that when he is ready I really missed him terribly because we had such a long friendship and we love to get together We are so competitive with each other it’s really embarrassing but we always make each other laugh
Simon will want the BGT finale to be all around him It will be like the resurrection of Jesus He will appear in a flash of light or more likely a puff of smoke!
I sent Simon signed copies of all of my children’s books because he hasn’t read a single one, but with Simon when you’re out of sight you don’t have the head Le problem is he doesn’t have a phone, so he can’t be reached
No, it was easier because what you need when writing is as much time as possible I have written a short storybook, a picture book and most of my new novel « Code Name Bananas « which is a WWII adventure story about rescuing a gorilla from London Zoo Half the time during the lockdown I was writing books, and the other half I was with my son at home school, which I loved because I got to spend the whole day with him
I really like Dame Jacqueline Wilson who wrote the Tracy Beaker books I think she is an amazing talent She just wrote a book that I read titled Love Frankie which is a love story between two girls What I love about Jacqueline is that she often deals with difficult issues in her books Tracy Beaker is a girl who has been taken care of I found reading Tracy Beaker at times heartbreaking
If I was writing a Bond movie I would try to do something they’ve never done before Something with the time and place where Bond only has 24 hours to do something or he is trapped I’d also like to show Bond something you’ve never seen him do I’d love to show Bond to the bathroom In almost 60 years and 25 movies he never needed the bathroom Being asked to write James’ next screenplay Bond would be my absolute dream job, but I was never asked Now I said I wanted to portray him on the toilet, I guess I never will!
Wherever I am with my son This is where I am happiest This is what I love more than anything else, just being with me No matter what we do or where we are, too long that we are together because we always make each other laugh
