Maisie Smith has always been open about how exhausting those Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals are – and she’s bruised.
The 19-year-old EastEnders star left fans concerned about her latest Instagram listing when they discovered bruises around her knee, proving she doesn’t work out easily.
Maisie shared a series of snaps with pro dance partner Gorka Marquez on Instagram, writing, « When you shout ‘pose’ is what you get. . «
Fans rushed to the comments section to share their concerns about Maisie’s bruises while others passed out over her radiant appearance.
It comes as Maisie was giving her judgment on why she thinks she’s misunderstood by the public.
Maisie finished in the bottom two positions for the second time and thinks she knows why.
The EastEnders star – the youngest celeb on the hit BBC One dance show that year – was rescued last weekend by Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke.
Her routine with pro partner Gorka Marquez got her into the dance against Caroline Quentin and made her self-confidence fade slightly.
She said OK! likes: « People have said that they can’t warm up to me at Strictly, but I’m so nervous and that can be interpreted as arrogance.
« I’ll either go quiet or exaggerate to build a confident front. It’s hard not to be influenced by it. I really need to remind myself to trust myself and be me. «
