“The Science of Scare Project” is a study by Broadbandchoicescom, which claims to be “the experts on mobile, TV and the internet” on its journey to find the scariest horror movie , 50 people spent over 120 hours watching 50 of the best horror movies of all time, according to critics’ reviews Throughout the experiment, the heart rates of the participants were monitored
After completing all of the movies, contestants had the highest heart rates after watching Sinister hit 86 BPM, which is nowhere near the 65 average.The movie showed how Ethan Hawke and his family experienced the experience when they moved into a house where a long haired demon called « Bughul » would lead to a series of murders In 2012, the film received only mixed reviews, which may surprise most horror fans
While watchers ‘heart rates peaked at 131 BPM while watching « Sinister, » it was 2010 supernatural film Insidious, which had the best fear of jumps as participants’ heart rates soared at 133 BPM at one point Insidious is another mediocre movie that received mixed reviews from critics, ranked second as average heart rate hit 85 BPM
